DESCRIPTION: Dolatabads are the product of the work of Nomad Tribes in the Northern Region of Afghanistan. They resemble Turkomen and Bukhara Carpets in many ways but the gul design that characterises them tends to be much bigger than in others rugs. The main colour is dark red but for the guls a cream colour can sometimes be found in the borders.
